Trains And Locomotives Wiki

Hello,

This is JPBX 909. As most people on my blog know, (nonsensibletravels.blogspot.com), I am very fond of making LEGO builds. So, anyway, I thought I'd share them with you! First off, we have an LIRR DE30AC. The DE30ACs are a band of electric engines that run on the LIRR, built by EMD. The engines are used on the Ronkonkoma/Greenport, Port Jefferson, Montauk/Babylon, Central, and Oyster Bay lines. Naturally, there is some amount of artistic license in the locomotive's design, such as the slope of the hood, strobe lights, and height, but it otherwise looks like the real deal. Next up we have an 0-6-0 steam locomotive with two tenders, containing the "coal" and "water." (Otherwise known as, battery box, motors, and IR receiver.)

Back when I built this train, I figured that it would be for the Royal Train of Nonsensible. That's my made-up country that's been around for a long, long, time. Anyway, this engine is an 0-6-0, has two tenders, and one dome. The royal train would've consisted of one diner, one observation lounge, one sleeper, and another car just for the heck of it. Given the parts I have, I'd probably be able to complete only one out of the listed cars. So anyway, if you'd like to find out more about Nonsensible, my LEGO trains, and my hobbies/interests, just pop me a message on my wall!
